Gracehill Primary School, 19 Church Road, Gracehill, Ballymena County Antrim

Welcome to the website of Gracehill Primary School. I hope that you will enjoy browsing our website as the parent/carer of a current pupil, as someone who is thinking of sending your child here, or as someone with a past connection with the school.

Gracehill is a village with a tremendous history and was founded 250 years ago as a settlement for those who followed the Moravian faith. The village also has a long established reputation for providing education with the first schools in the village being opened in 1797.

The current school building was opened in May 2000 and has just over 400 pupils ranging in age from 4 to 11 years. A Nursery Unit was added in 2004 and provides pre-school education for 26 pupils.

The school has an enviable reputation for providing a good academic education and provides a wide range of extra curricular activities. While we take great pride in what happens inside school, we also recognise the importance of developing partnerships with the world outside. We have a strong tradition of links with other schools within our local community and further afield having established associations with schools in Ireland, England and on mainland Europe.

Parents are always welcome in school but if you are a visitor and would like to know more about our school please contact the school office and we will be delighted to arrange a meeting with you.
