Drama

The drama club was re-launched in term 2 after an absence of several years. The activities enjoyed included mime, improvisation, the use of props and role play. The highlight of the club was a performance in whole school assembly of a short play entitled 'The Lonely Dragon'. It was on the theme of recognising that everyone is different and should be treated fairly. Each cast member was responsible for their own costume, with some fantstic masks being created.

Hockey

Hockey club takes place each Monday after school. We have a very enthusiastic group of girls who are keen to advance their skills and play as a team for the school.

Photography

Gracehill Primary School photography club is for budding young photographers. It is about having fun whilst learning about photography. This year we have looked at taking better photos, editing pictures and making photo stories.

Dance

Fun filled! Exciting! Makes your Monday! These are some of the comments from our current members. With a very creative and fun instructor from the Sport's Council, this after schools' club rushed by in the blink of an eye. Great choregraphy and current hip and trendy music helps put everyone in the weekend mood even after a dull Monday!

Art and Craft club

This club allows children to explore their creative side with lots of fun art and craft activities.

Orchestra

,

Come to orchestra and experience life within a large group of musicians. Have fun exploring rhythm, syncopation and dynamics under the guidance of our conductor. Compulsory for those having music lessons within school, this club operates on Wednesday afternoons.

Scripture Union

Scripture Union meets each Thursday in terms one and two for P5-P7 pupils. We follow an exciting programme of singing, Bbible stories, drama and memory verses- all of which help us learn about God.

We also fundraise to sponsor a teenage boy call Kenneth who lives in the Philippines. The money we raise helps to provide books, uniform and school fees payments. We are always keen to welcome new members.

Rugby

Open to both boys and girls from P6 and P7, this very popular club operates on Monday afternoons, throughout term 2. Using the pitch at the rear of school, children's fitness levels increase alongside skill levels.
